About The Instructor

Meet Joe Davis, a 20-year-old musical virtuoso born in England, whose journey in the world of music began with classical piano at the tender age of 5. After migrating to Jamaica at 10, he continued to hone his craft, eventually earning a scholarship to the prestigious Idyllwild Arts Academy in California, where he majored in Jazz Piano and songwriting. Joe's exceptional talent was recognized when he graduated with the "Most Outstanding Artist" award.

With a unique blend of perfect pitch and chromesthesia, Joe not only hears but sees musical notes in an array of colors. His repertoire spans over 12 instruments, showcasing his versatility in piano, voice, electric bass, guitar, drums, steelpan, recorder, and mixed percussion. Currently pursuing a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Joe is a scholar who continues to push the boundaries of musical innovation.

Having graced internationally renowned stages, from South by Southwest (SXSW) to The Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival, Joe is not just an accomplished musician but also a social media sensation with almost 20k followers and 1 million views across various platforms. His impact is acknowledged by industry figures like Jacob Collier, Tori Kelly, and DJ Jazzy Jeff.
